Labor Day Report!!

Here it is Sept. 1st!  Beginning to feel like fall but we are still getting lots of rain and humidity.  Here is an assortment of veggies picked.

And some more picked!  I really think the garden is about done!

Vegetable bowl of raspberries.  So happy to have them still producing!!

We hosted our Bible Study.  I am not a flower arranger but it was so nice to go out in the yard and pick these and stick in a sundae glass!  Happy  Labor Day!

Lovely raspberries. My summer veggies are about done too. But I do have fall veggies coming on, so I'll still be picking.

Hi Daphne, Love the second round of raspberries! Wish there was a third and fourth round! I don't do so well at fall veggies but have a few greens planted in the cold frame to cover for winter. Nancy

I've planted some fall crops but I'm afraid they are being neglected in favour of summer produce right now. What I wouldn't give for some lovely fresh raspberries right about now...lucky you!

I would love to saute that pretty yellow squash and make me a tomato/cucumber sandwich ... then I could have raspberries for dessert. That would be a full meal for me.
Thanks for a healthy lunch.

Hi Margaret, Come on over and have a dish of raspberries! They must like the rain as are producing well right now. Nancy

Your flowers made a beautiful arrangement! Raspberries seem to do so well your way!

Progress in the Courtyard!

It was so nice to look out my bedroom window this morning and see the Clematis blooming instead of a pile of snow.  It is a rainy day agai...
