Beautiful Day! There is Hope!!!

Pie baked again from the raspberries frozen grown in our yard!  Are you tired of seeing pictures of my pies!  "Wonderful Gardener" doesn't seem to get tired of eating them!!!!

I think there was a small critter that came up under the garden fence that Coco tried to find!!  She says, "no veggies so what else am I suppose to do!"

This beautiful rose from "my secret admirer" does make it seem like spring, don't you think?

I have been working on a couple things waiting for gardening time.  This is a single size scrap quilt just waiting to have the binding sewn on.

Also knitting the usual dish cloths!  What have ya'll been up to?  Did I do that right?  My southern daughter-in-law has been trying to teach this yankee ya'll.

I couldn't resist taking a picture of this happy little bird perched on the birdhouse singing away on this beautiful day!  There is hope all you gardeners!

Nope not sick of pies yet ;>

And I do hope spring comes soon. Today was good though. We got to the high 40s so a lot of snow started to melt out.

That berry pie looks DELICIOUS!!!! I see some vintage fabrics in that patchwork. I have some of the same ones in old quilts I have.
Great bird picture.
Hope you have a great evening. xo Diana

Hi Nancy! You still have snow? Wow! We're having Spring! It's so wonderful to live in the South and say ya'll and have Spring when the North is still in snow! I send you warmth! The pie looks delicious! Maybe soon you'll be thawed out! Blessings from Bama!

Hi Daphne, Nice you were in the 40's today. I think we were just a little higher. Hope the bitter cold is over for this year. Nancy

Yup - looks like the weather is finally turning...about time too! I've just gotten into knitting in the past year and really enjoy it - although I'm more of a throw all the dishes in the dishwasher kind of person, so I've yet to make a dishcloth ;)

Hi Margaret, I hope the bitter cold does not come back! We use the dishwasher too but I like the dish cloth for wiping cupboards up. Plus they are easy to make! LOL Nancy

Hi Nancy ... your pie looks delicious ... and much better that you grew you own berries.
Good that you have spent the long winter making quilts and knitting wash cloths. I love those for washing dishes. Hope your snow is gone soon. No snow here but some nice rain this month. Sure to make the weeds grow.
Blessings.

Your pies always look delicious! And looks like you are keeping busy in the off-season. Yes, you said it right!!! Some folks write it y'all and some folks write it ya'll.... either way it means 'you all'. You're doing great!!

You still have quite a bit of snow, but the sunshine and rose do help! Your pies always look yummy and make me hungry. :)

Hi Audrey, Thanks! We really do enjoy the raspberries off from our own bushes! I started out with just three bushes and now they have multiplied plus I gave some starters away! Nancy

Hi Lisa, Thanks! I don't like to just sit around but sometimes spend too much time on this computer!! Nancy

Hi Nancy, I love that photo of the bird perched on your birdhouse . . . Spring is right around the corner :) As for photos of your pies . . . I believe that there is a true art to baking pies and yours are a masterpiece. The only thing wrong is that you can't share them with us over the internet, but if you could, you would have the largest following of any blog I know, LOL
Have a wonderful week and keep baking your masterpieces.
Connie :)

Hi Connie, Love to see and hear the birds around! Suppose to be a lovely day here tomorrow. I don't consider my pies masterpieces but would love to share one with you! Nancy

Progress in the Courtyard!

It was so nice to look out my bedroom window this morning and see the Clematis blooming instead of a pile of snow.  It is a rainy day agai...
