Now that March is here, the wind is blowing, making it seem very cold in spite of what the thermometer reads. I hope to be able to have a garden this year; the farmer has tilled the spot, so when the time comes to plant .... we'll see. :)lil red henhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15494641068959278096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8258071793517912248.post-28360466100203748352014-03-12T06:14:28.642-07:002014-03-12T06:14:28.642-07:00your bread and strawberries look yummy, nancy:) c...your bread and strawberries look yummy, nancy:) coco is so cute with the jif jar! my dog loves peanut butter, too! enjoy your day!farmhouse-storyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00032726701043723077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8258071793517912248.post-63050650435797021102014-03-12T00:50:02.655-07:002014-03-12T00:50:02.655-07:00You are doing well with your plants in such cold. ...You are doing well with your plants in such cold. we have had an extremely hot loooooong summer.<br />Your bread is separating because you haven't kneaded it until totally smooth. If you don't there are little folds sometimes left when you put it into the tin. Also the best way I've found to stop the top separating, is having my oven on the hottest setting fan forced 240c for 10 mins then turning it down to 210c for 25 mins. That way the crust doesn't get too hard too quickly. Hope this helps.Heirloom treasureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05839739357705776792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8258071793517912248.post-57477413090820871022014-03-11T18:33:12.279-07:002014-03-11T18:33:12.279-07:00Hi Audrey, The cover on my cold frame is plexigla...Hi Audrey, The cover on my cold frame is plexiglass.
