I am especially hoping it will help with my husband's kidney stones and my daughter's aspergers. You can buy them here http://www.culturesforhealth.com/starter-cultures/kefir-cultures.html They sell milk kefir grains and water kefir grains. I chose water kefir mainly because milk is so expensive that I don't buy it very often. We do eat cheese though. I also did not order my grains from there. I bought from someone on ebay who was selling hers for around $5.Vickihttp://www.oneandahalfacrehomestead.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8258071793517912248.post-30154550868666574702014-10-15T18:28:02.119-07:002014-10-15T18:28:02.119-07:00Hi Felecia, Glad I gave you an idea on how to use...Hi Felecia, Glad I gave you an idea on how to use your apples! I love apples and am trying to figure out how to prepare the peck on my counter-top. You've given me an idea to dehydrate them! Thanks! I just need to get busy doing it. Nice to see the 'littles' getting along so well! Coco didn't mind to be in the kennel since she got treats! Thanks for sharing! I just can't keep up with how much he likes to eat it all.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8258071793517912248.post-13788844654742932002014-10-13T19:36:26.126-07:002014-10-13T19:36:26.126-07:00Hi Vicki, Thanks for the recipe. I am waiting to pick broccoli and cabbage and hoping the cold doesn't get them. :) I have been making water kefir for about 3 months now. It is pretty easy. You just dissolve 1/4 cup sugar(I use turbinado)in a quart of water, add your kefir grains, and let it sit at room temperature for 48 hours.
