I can understand your lack of enthusiasm this year but hope it will be a place of healing for you. Don't worry those little cabbage will takeoff and grow like crazy. I started some cabbage plants from seed, and had them in the green house. I can't figure out what went wrong, but I lost power out there plus we have been having a cold spell, I've lost a couple plants and the others don't look very good. I just can't get the enthusiasm about anything the way I used to. It is always a delight visiting your blog. Wish we lived closer . . . I'd drop by for some gardening tips and maybe some of your lovely green thumb would rub off on me :) Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8258071793517912248.post-37932575577906060702022-04-16T20:36:03.927-07:002022-04-16T20:36:03.927-07:00Hi Betsy, Hope you had a great time camping! I was able to read blogs while camping but not enough internet to comment until we got home to the computer.
I would love to have some raised beds so I can do some gardening. Just a few things, but we have to get them off the ground and covered because of the deer that like to eat whatever is growing in our yard. Last year they ate every single flower that bloomed except marigolds! This year I'm putting silk flowers in pots in the backyard!
Wishing you a most wonderful Easter tomorrow.
Blessings and hugs,
BetsyBetsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00807691752817225336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8258071793517912248.post-7800547673129159912022-04-15T13:05:54.898-07:002022-04-15T13:05:54.898-07:00Hi Julie, Thank you but my path no longer looks th...Hi Julie, Thank you but my path no longer looks that pretty. Rosie pulled most of the plants out last year. . I am going to try to plant in pots along there this year and hope she leaves them alone. Life with a puppy! You have a lovely Easter also! You're so right, we gardeners plod on. I'd like to try growing strawberries. I think I'll use a raised box too. I still have to wait for a while though. Pretty cold at nights still.Granny Marigoldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15858237999602347848noreply@blogger.com
