Raspberries, Zukes, Chives, Beet Greens & Kale

Bah Humbug!!  Hot, humid and skeeters are bad but thankful for what I get!  Raspberries, zucchini, and chives.  Couple beet greens and kale for my smoothies!

What do you think?  This was a nice clump of Pinks.  Was green and bloomed nicely this spring.  About the third year for them in my garden. Never looked like this before! Are they dead?  Will they come back?  Should I dig them out and throw away???????  Wisdom needed!

Coco is wandering around in my flower bed.  Would you say she is thinking there must be some food here somewhere!!!

Harvesting a cherry tomato or sungold once in awhile!

One cabbage, two zukes and raspberries!  Enjoying them all!

Finally starting to get a few green beans!  Three more cherry and sungold tomatoes and more raspberries!!  Hooray!

More green beans make me happy and a couple sungolds!  Well, that's it for this time!

That is one beautiful cabbage - and those raspberries look scrumptious too. I'll hopefully be harvesting a couple of zucchini by tomorrow & getting that dang netting off the bed - crossing my fingers that the borers are done for the year & I won't have to worry.

Hi Margaret, My cabbages I have harvested so far are early cabbages and weren't too big. Sure taste good in cole slaw though. Love that we are getting raspberries. Eating some and putting some in freezer for pies. Good luck about the borers! Nancy

I could gobble down those raspberries. Our bush did not make it through winter, and I miss them. All your veggies look wonderful.

Hello Nancy ... so happy to see your harvest. Beautiful cabbage and raspberries. Looks like you got enough green beans for your meal.I am watching a beautiful pumpkin grow that came up in my compost pile and getting a few tomatoes. Wish I had time and energy for a large garden. Too hot here. I like a Fall garden.
Be blessed.

Hi Audrey, Thanks. We have had green beans for a couple meals now. Love fresh green beans. We just have a small garden and are getting so we can do less and less but it is so nice to have a few of our own veggies! Enjoy your tomatoes and hope nothing happens to your pumpkin! Nancy

Hi lynn, Thanks for your advice. If I have enough patience I may wait till next year to decide on the pinks! Don't know yet if I can stand the dead look! Nancy
