Coco, Progress and Family

Coco says this is life is not too bad!

I  wish my Mom would not bother me!

Us and our four kids on Sue and Craig's boat.  First time we all could be together at the same time in years!  What a blessing!

Our three sons, Dan from MD, Mike from IN and Scott from VA.

And us girls!!!

The marina.

We went for a boat ride and saw a beautiful sunset!!

Abigail, Emily and Sue made Uncle Bill a birthday cake.

Abigail cracking one of the eggs for the cake.

All agreed it was tasty!!

It has rained a lot but still progress on the house.

A closer picture.  We don't have a basement so I don't know what these are called but as long as there is progress it makes me happy!
Just wish it could be faster progress!!  Thanks for visiting!

I remember those days well of digging the hole and pouring footers...glad it's over and hope we never do it again! I do love my new home though. So glad your entire family got to be together and what fun going out on a boat ride. What a blessing.

What a wonderful thing to have the entire family together. I love family time. Your house is coming along. Think those things are called crawl spaces...at least out here they are. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy

Nice progress being made on the foundation for your new house. But I understand how you really would like things to go faster!!
Wonderful family time together.

Hi Sue, Thanks for visiting! Not moving fast enough!!! Too much rainy weather here or maybe it would go faster? Nancy

Hi Bee Lady, Yes, it is exciting to see the different things as they progress on the house. I will probably enjoy looking back at the pictures but right now I am just anxious to get moved into it!! Love having all the family together but it doesn't happen a lot! Nancy

Hi Betsy, I do think your right that they are called crawl spaces. We have always had basements under our homes before. It was great to have all the family together which has not happened for a long time. Nancy

Hi Granny Marigold, It is nice to see progress but wish it would be faster. I would not choose apartment living if I had a choice but it will be so nice when the house is finished. Time has gone fast with all the family being together this past week. Nancy

What a nice family! Looks like you really had fun. It's been a while since my daughters and their families have come for a visit. I miss our big family dinners and all the grandchildren being here. It must be so exciting to watch your new house going up!

Hi Henny Penny, It was so nice having them all together at the same time. Just wish i could get this lyme into remission again and feel better. It is exciting to go down to the new house site and see progress but I am also very impatient! Nancy

Lovely pics, Nancy. The sunset one is such pretty colours,
Your boys and daughters in law all look happy ~ I bet that made YOU happy!
Coco looks as though she's content (for now).
She really is the colour of cocoa, lol.
All the best to you.

Hi Cheryl, Thanks! It was so nice to be together but kinda sad now that the boys from out of state left. I am looking forward to moving in to our new house but it will be awhile yet. Nancy

How lovely to be with all of your family, on a wonderful boat ride as well! I'm glad that you had such a wonderful time - fingers crossed that wet weather stops so that your house doesn't get delayed!

Hi Margaret, Yes, it sure was great to all be together! We will soon have been in this apartment one month so that is one month closer to our own house!!!!! Nancy

Nancy! Are you building too? I only just saw your message you left me early in the summer. I never go a notification! We are about 4 months into our build! Hopefully less than two to go!

Hi Shawn Ann, It is so good to hear from you again! How are you doing? Yes, we are building a house where they do all the outside maintenance except for a small courtyard which I can take care of. The projection date for moving into our home is Dec. 15th. I am hoping it will be sooner! We are renting a small apartment. Our house sold in two days. Nancy

Nancy, Sorry it took me so long to see this response! Our move in date is soon too. Hopefully Nov 30 if all goes as planned. Your new place looks great. I should post some pics of our new house on my page...
Thanksgiving may slow our progress. We are staying in a small condo too. All 5 of us! It's tight! We are ready too!

Progress in the Courtyard!

It was so nice to look out my bedroom window this morning and see the Clematis blooming instead of a pile of snow.  It is a rainy day agai...
