Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!  I made two of these table runners and almost didn't even get one of them out in time for Valentine's Day!!!

And a beautiful light pink rose from my special Valentine!  I bet you wish you had a special Valentine!  Or maybe you do!

Here we are years ago before we had even met!  We met after we both graduated from high school.

I received this envelope in the mail.  Isn't this the cutest!  I love receiving something in the mailbox but this was so nice I had to share it.

The envelope contained these items.  A beautiful pink heart! (Bet you didn't know I love pink and I really like hearts)  And some tags she had made to put with home made gifts that I will make.  Love both items!

This talented lady is Connie over at Crafty Home Cottage on my side bar.  Visit her blog and see all the many wonderful things she makes!

Hubby finished his den.  We downsized so it was hard fitting in all his mementoes that we like.

Some things from when we were full-timing for a couple years.

Another wall with his memories and our many photo albums.  Does anyone but me miss having real pictures instead of everything digital?!

The historical buildings he made of Pt. Huron, Michigan found a place above the windows.

Even the old black phone found a spot!  I think this is a long enough tour for one visit!  I hope you are having a wonderful Valentine's Day!

The great thing about digital is you can delete delete delete all those bad pictures and don't have to PAY for the developing of them.....just the ones you WANT.
I put out a new photo album every year. It's fun to go through them and see all we've done throughout the year. It's amazing how much stuff you forget!
Love the new "digs"--looks like you've settled in well.

What a sweet envelope of goodies you received from Connie. That was really nice of her. I love seeing the photos of your new home. It's so much fun to take tours of other peoples homes and see the things that mean so much to them. What a cute picture of you and your hubby from years ago. I hope you have a lovely Valentine's Day.
Blessings Betsy

Oh- I love seeing bits and pieces of your new home. It looks like you are finding places for all those special pieces.
I do miss the albums of pictures like we had years ago. I wonder what the kids of today will do to look at the pictures of themselves when they were younger---I suppose there will be a whole new way to do it.
Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day. That was very sweet of Connie and I LOVE your table runner. xo Diana

Hi NanaDiana, Thanks! There is something special about getting a photo album down and in your hands to look at. If the internet is down we can still look at them! I loved what Connie sent. Very sweet of her! Happy Valentine's Day! Nancy

I love this update! The table runner is wonderful! Great job! *smile* Also the wheel and pictures is pretty. *smile* I like digital so I don't pay to print blurry pictures anymore, but I miss the personalization that was once in every home rather than the generic store bought decorations that seem to be in every home these days. Not in our home due to some artwork my Uncle Cameron Blagg has painted that we are blessed to have in one room and some lovely beach pictures we found. *smile* I really like the ocean! Have a great day. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!
