Oh, I love the little videos you made. Your first garden was absolutely lovely but so big and a lot of work. No wonder you eventually downsized. Your courtyard is lovely too in a much more restrained way.And always there's sweet Coco running about.

Hi Granny Marigold, Thank you for looking at the videos. I still like to look at the video of our former place once in awhile. I loved that garden best but this is the place we need to be now. Have a great week-end coming up and Happy Father's Day to your hubby. Nancy

When we down sized I did wonder how it was going to be, but in fact my garden is so much more manageable compared to the acre we had previously! Your courtyard is so full of colour and lovely plants, very pretty.

Hi Elizabethd, Thank you for watching. I have to agree my courtyard is much more manageable but still keeps me busy! Thanks for your comment! Happy small space gardening! Nancy

Your videos are just lovely. I can’t even begin to imagine how much work your first one was. I think I prefer your courtyard garden. It is so lovely and I think it would even be within my ability to take care of. :-) The sound of the running water is so calming and soothing and the flowers are just beautiful. And sweet little Coco joining you on the walk-through both is so cute. Have a lovely day and thank you for sharing with us. Blessings, Betsy

Hi Betsy, Thanks you for your nice comment. It is more within my ability to take care of now. I sure did enjoy the beauty of the previous yard but your right, it was a tremendous amount of work. I think Coco preferred our larger yard as she could chase and bark at the birds! Have a great week-end. Nancy

Hi Shawn Ann, Thank you! Just hard to get use to not enough space to grow everything! Nancy

I love both of your gardens. I was just telling Hubby that when we move to the next house I would love to have stand up boxes for veggies and more pots for flowers. My knees are getting too weak to work in our yard and even the raised veggie garden is hard for me. I love how yours looks.

Wonderful videos! I love the sound of water in them - and I see lots of Coco protection!

Hi Nancy, You certainly have downsized, but I'm so happy that you still have space for a lovely garden and a place to get your hands in the dirt :) It amazes me how very much you have done in the short time since you've moved there. Check your email, I sent you links for both of the stores where I purchase fabric online.
Have a sweet week.
Connie :)

Hi Betty, Thanks! Raised beds are so nice. Hope you do get yours. Having a smaller yard is sometimes frustrating with all I would like to grow but this is all I can handle at this stage in my life. Glad you could see them. Nancy

Hi Margaret, Thank you! Yes, Coco owns whatever yard we have and eats too many of my things! It is a challenge! Nancy

Hi Connie, Than you! Always enjoy reading your comment. This size yard is all I can handle right now but sometimes get frustrated because I would like to grow more. Hard to pick and choose. Thanks for the links for the material. I want to get back to quilting! Have a nice week. Nancy

Oh I just adore your videos! Yes that first one is so large but oh so very beautiful. I do not know how in the world you kept it up girl. Loving, loving, loving your courtyard! So beautiful. Just love it. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Hi Creations by Cindy, Thank you for watching the videos. That was a problem trying to keep up the bigger yard. Now I have a hard enough time trying to keep up the courtyard!! Glad you enjoyed them! Nancy

Hi Joy from Days Filled With Joy, Thank you! It would be fun to have you come visit but I am no expert. Trial and error on my courtyard gardening! Nancy

Progress in the Courtyard!

It was so nice to look out my bedroom window this morning and see the Clematis blooming instead of a pile of snow.  It is a rainy day agai...
