Rose Bush, Hibiscus, Dianne, Dehydrator, New Plant, Granola, Books & Coco

Only one rose bush blooming so far for the second round of blooms!

We are really enjoying seeing the new hibiscus plant blooming this year!

My good friend, Dianne, came for tea and cookies.  She will be moving a little farther away and I will miss having her nearby!

I was really missing my dried apples so got the dehydrator going last night.  It has five trays but some of the apples were dried already.

I had some free Chuck Bucks from our local nursery that needed to be used so I put them toward this plant today.  It is a Meadow Phlox.  I love the lavender and white flowers and thought they looked so delicate.  Now to decide where to plant it!!!

It was time to make more granola so that got crossed off the list today!

My Organic Gardening magazine is on the bottom but this is my stack of books from the library!  There is a gardening one among them!  Never enough time or energy!

Coco is standing by the refrigerator wishing I would feed her!  She got groomed today and a new collar.  It is hard work trying to be beautiful!  She is my extravagance.  I spend more money on her hair than mine!  Ridiculous, don't ya think!

Your rose is lovely. I've never had luck with them.
Sorry about your friend moving further away. My best friend is 400 miles away now. I miss her terribly!

Very nice post! I'm sorry your friend is moving; we women treasure our friendships! I like your book pile. I love to read too and noticed a favorite author of mine in the pile. It is true, there is never enough time to do all the things we want to do!

Hi Sue, Those are just the Knock Out Roses. We tried the pretty Hybrid but too much trouble and too much chemicals! I am sorry your friend moved so far away. Mine is just moving to the next town, not that far, so I will still get to see her! Hope you'll visit again! Nancy

Hi Nancy! Love your new photo! The girls are so sweet! The hibiscus flower is beautiful! And Coco is so adorable! Sorry your friend is moving! Maybe you'll still get to visit often! I love using my dehydrator, I just haven't had to yet. I hope to get some apples tomorrow, so I may dehydrate them. I love granola! Your looks delicious! I know what you mean about the time! It goes too quickly! Blessings from Bama!

Hi Bama Girl, Thanks for taking time to visit! Yes, I will see my friend as she is not moving that far away. The "littles" picture with us was taken at Easter time. They are growing up so fast! Hope you can find some apples. Come again! Nancy

Coco, the rose, and your new purchased plant all look great! I am trying to carve out some time for reading this month too. Have been running too much this summer and decided to slow the pace down for August.

Thanks kitsapFG! Good idea to slow down when it is so hot out! What is on your reading list?? Enjoy and please come again! Nancy

My goodness but you are busy! How do you find time for it all? And time for reading all those books?
Coco is sooo cute!

I want a dehydrator. Never thought I needed one before until this year and every time I turn around I find myself wishing I had one. Coco is beautiful and her new 'necklace' is lovely!
