What do Gardeners do in the Winter!

It looks like winter has arrived!  But that means that spring must be just around the corner!  What do all of you gardeners do in the winter besides dream and plan your gardens for next year???

I did spend some time in the kitchen!  Made up more granola and a pan of lasagna!

My friend, Lib, sent me another gingerbread man towel to enjoy.  Thank you Lib!

I spent some more time sewing.  I am becoming faster making these table runners!  More to finish!

I played my flute in the Hobart Area Concert Band Christmas concert. My
"Wonderful Gardener" is my loyal supporter! Also my daughter, Sue, son-in-law Craig, daughter-in-love, Melissa and one of the littles, Gracie attended.

Today my "Wonderful Gardener" and I went to the Round Barn Theater to see a Christmas play, Miracle on 34th Street.  So this is how we spend our winter months!  How do you spend yours?

Looks like you spend your winter months just fine! I was in a cooking state of mind yesterday. Cooked up supper for then and another meal for today. I am trying to eat much more healthy and it already shows in the higher energy levels I've had. Now if I could just keep that motivation going...

We definitely do dream of gardening and spring. We will be cutting down some trees later in the winter. We sit by the heat of the wood stove and relax more. I do like to sew more.

I like the round barn. I bet it was a great show.

Have a wonderful day.

Hi Cheryl, Your woodstove sounds so relaxing when you are sitting by it but not when you have to split the wood! Enjoy! From reading your blog I am sure you keep super busy all year! Thanks for visiting! Nancy

Playing your flute in a Christmas concert sounds like so much FUN! So wonderful your husband (and family!) is so supportive and attends your concerts. Makes it even more special. Your table runners look lovely, lasagna looks delicious and a theater performance in a round barn sounds absolutely delightful! I think you spend your winter months quite well!
