Still hanging in there and Cali's Birthday!

A little bit of the garden still hanging in there!!  Greens and small tomatoes!

Two strawberries and more raspberries!  I'll take it!!  More greens and a few of my carrots that didn't do well this year!

Beggars can't be choosers now can they!  Don't want to lose a single berry!  Has anyone noticed the price of raspberries in the stores lately??  Whew!

Cali is turning five this month!  How can that be!  She had a "Frozen" birthday party.  What fun she had.

Here is a picture of her "Frozen" cake!

And here is a picture of them eating their pizza.  Cali is in the middle and Gracie on the right.  Cali went to nursery school with the little girl on the left last year.  I am afraid my "littles" are growing up!!!!!!!

Yum, yum...berries and salad. I keep seeing everyone's lettuce and of course I am kicking myself for not getting around to planting that fall crop of lettuce.

Hi Margaret, I am sure wishing I would have planted more for the winter but even a little is nice! We can plan to do it next year! Nancy

Those raspberries look delicious and make a nice contrast to those lovely lettuce greens!

Hi Julie, Yes, the red and green do look good together. Kind of sad to see the season end! Not the work though, just the eating part!! Nancy

I envy that lettuce. Mine never really grew and just bolted this fall. It is on the list of crops where I say "maybe next year". It always amazes me how somethings can do so well and other just fail.

Hi Nancy! What adorable children! They are growing too fast! Happy Birthday to Calli! All the little girls are having "Frozen" birthdays this year! Glad they had fun with their friends! Blessings from Bama!

Good Morning Nancy, it is so nice that you are still harvesting from your garden. We are still getting tomatoes, but i'm sure that our first frost will be soon around the corner.
Your little granddaughter is adorable. We watched that movie with our granddaughters the last time they were here to visit, but I fell asleep and only saw half of it. Steve has this joke that I have seen the first half of all the DVDs we own, LOL. I do have a habit of falling asleep in my chair when I get all cozied up.
Have a sweet day.
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

Hi Daphne, I wish I had planted more lettuce but glad I got a little in. I wish my cold frame was deeper in the back and closer to the house but we didn't know much about it at the time! Nancy

Felecia, Yes, Frozen seems to be popular with the younger set! They sure do grow up too quickly for me! Nancy

Hi Connie, Thank you for your sweet note. I enjoy reading them. I did watch Frozen all the way through but need to watch it again to remember everything! You must need that sleep! Nancy

Good to see that you are still getting veggies and fruit from your garden. Your raspberries have done well this year.
Thanks for sharing your harvest.
