Cinnamon rolls ready to pop into the oven! This is the recipe I got from my Mom. She made the best rolls! Gotta keep my Gardener happy you know! This is his pay for today!
The Sugar Peas are growing and starting to attach to the string. Not fast enough tho. It is seeming to take forever! Does anyone else feel that way about their veggies growing too slow???
We bought more cinder blocks today to make my compost bin higher. Hoping for some black gold!
I need more room to grow veggies so this bed is in the process of being enlarged. I had hoped to get my onion bulbs planted today but we ran out of time and energy!

Mmmm, those cinnamon rolls look so good! Have I told you lately that I wish I was your neighbor? LOL, I can't say it enough.
Nice garden expansion. I expanded mine this year, as my four children like for me to share my veggies with them. Now two of them have decided to grow gardens for themselves! I might be feeding the neighbors :-)
I feel that way about my peas too. They take so long to come up and just slowly make their way to the first string on the trellis. Mine aren't there yet. I'm hoping soon.
Hi Annie, Would you and a lot of these other gardening blog friends like to move to Indiana? lol That would be nice! Since your husband does not help you garden you must take some super vitamin pill!!!! Thanks for visiting. Nancy
Hi Daphne, Patience is not my virtue! Fresh veggies from the garden just taste so extra good, don't they! Hope our peas both grow fast!! Come again. Nancy
Delicious looking cinnamon rolls you've got there!
Looks like you got plenty of work done! Those "pots" that I got from the dollar tree are in an area with other buckets, because it's not really part of their garden section. I'm not sure that they still carry them though, but hopefully you were looking in the right spot. Sorry you were running all over the place looking for them! I know at Annie's Granny's Dollar Trees, they did not have the light blue color, but did have black.
I have pretty decent luck with snow peas for some reason. Mine shoot up once they get going. I'm not sure why though, they are planted right alongside grass, so they've got to be sharing some nutrients. I have planted mine in the same spot for 3 years now, and they still do incredibly well. I know you're supposed to rotate things, but I'm not fixing something that's not broken at this point!
Thanks Megan! Come on over and you can have one with a cup of tea! We didn't see any black pots either. I plan to look in another store but they just may have different things now. Maybe your on to something with growing snow peas near your grass and I don't blame you for not rotating if you have no problems. At times it is a problem for me with my little gardens trying to figure out how to rotate and not plant things near each other that are enemies! lol Come again. Nancy
Nan,
Read your blog often. Looks like you got quite a few followers. Did you give me the recipe for the cinnamon rolls? If not I sure would like to have it, I can't seem to find it.
Can send it email if you like.
I've had kids everyday for the last 3 wks. I'm a little tired tonight. Got a new card made. Will put it on blog or facebook if I get time. Hugs
