HELP! What kind of beans are these??

Here is a question for all my fellow gardening friends!  These were growing in with my yellow beans.  I don't know where they came from.  They are not like my pole or bush beans, kind of flat altho one had a small bean in it when I broke it open.  They taste like beans.  What are they? How do I cook them? How do I freeze them? Should I have left them on the vine longer??  Thank you all so much for your help!

I think they are GREEN BEANS :) Really, I have no idea. But, I wouldn't leave them on the vine any longer.

I want to say it might be some type of Italian flat green beans. We have had a few seeds mixed in with our contender beans.

Have a wonderful evening.

Italian flat green beans. Cook or freeze just like any green bean.

I think they are the flat Italian type also and I really like them although I have not grown any...some restaurants here in the south serve them and I suspect they are canned but I like green beans, any type and cooked any way...let us know what you think...probably cook with a strip of bacon, salt and pepper.

They are runner beans. Top & tail them, slice thinly and then boil for 8-10 mins. Yummy. I grow them all the time. If you want to freeze them cut them first and blanch them and spread them on a tray in the freezer until frozen then bag them up, if you just bag them they will stick together. You can steam them if you prefer.
