Not much gardening going on here this time of year! I went out to get some greens for my salad this morning, cleaned up the doggie do and put the left over coffee and coffee grounds on one of my blueberry bushes! It was COLD! About 30 degrees at noon. I am ready for spring!
I received this nice labeler for one of my birthday gifts. Now there should be no excuse not to have my garden notebooks organized!
Wishing you all a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving! I thank God for my many blessings. Stay warm! Spring isn't that far off!

In a word, YES! I walked into the kitchen this morning and asked Mr. Granny "Is it March yet?" Unfortunately, the answer was "No". I don't do winters well. All those winters in AZ have me spoiled.
yes, it's gonna be a long winter:( happy thanksgiving, nancy!
Hi Annie*s Granny, I don't mind it as much if it is at least in the 45 degree weather in the daytime but 30's are just too cold for this elderly lady!!! LOL Nancy
Thanks lynn, I hope your wrong in that it will be a long winter! Hope your Thanksgiving is nice! Nancy

Hi Cheryl, I think it is even colder there than here! I don't mind 45 degrees and above but 30 is too cold for me! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Nancy
HI Nancy,
Just wanted to stop by and say Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. You left a nice comment on my blog but I could not respond since you are a no reply comment blogger. Thanks for coming by always just did not want you to think I ignore your comments. I appreciate them just have no way to respond back to you.
Kris
Hi Kris, Thank you! I don't know how to not be a no reply comment! You are so kind to write me and let me know. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours too. Nancy
Hi Nancy ... Winter is not my favorite time of the year either, but we just have to have it. Not too bad here today (Texas), but wind is really blowing. We did luck out with over three inches of rain with this storm and no ice, so that was a blessing.
Stay warm.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Nancy! Love those pretty greens! I have to buy mine at the store! It's cold here too, and raining! We may even get a light dusting of snow tonight! Not normal for Alabama this time of year! I can hardly wait to plant seeds! I hope we don't have a long winter, but if we do, I'll just plant more seeds! Hope ya'll have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Blessings from Bama!
Hi Audrey, I thought I heard that Texas was getting pretty bad weather. Glad it is not too bad there. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Nancy
Hi Felecia, Thanks! It won't be long and you can get to planting seeds! Enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving! Nancy
I'm actually ready for a gardening break. Ask in in January and I'll be ready for Christmas. But I want some snow first. Not to much mind you. The first year we lived in this house (three years ago) we had record snowfall. Our little urban lot doesn't have a lot of space to put snow. We had snowpiles over our heads. So just a couple nice snow storms. 8" is nice.
Hi Daphne, I was ready for a break too but already I am wanting to get back at it! I don't mind some snow but it is the bitter cold that gets to me! Happy Thanksgiving! Nancy
Nooooo. I need it to stay cool a while. I feel SO SO much better! Your bowl of greens looks wonderful. I have just started to harvest lettuce and spinach last week. YUM! Have fun with your label maker! What a great gift!! Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi emilysincerely, Cool is better for me but not in the 20's!! You and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Nancy
