Someone posted this on facebook!  It about sums up our state right now!!!

This is our front porch and sidewalk.  There are bushes under the snow in front of the railing somewhere!

A path on the deck that "wonderful gardener" shoveled three times so "wonderful furbaby" could go out potty.  It is taller than she is!

The "littles" and their mommy came over one day.  I spread a quilt on the living room floor and we had a picnic  and a treasure hunt in the house.  We had H20 JUICE to drink so that the carpet would not get stained.  I didn't take a picture of us but here is some new artwork for my refrigerator by them!

Finished knitting a new dish cloth for ourselves!

I got a new book!  What else is a gardener going to do with this much snow except dream and read about gardening!  Have you been doing the same???????

Oh, my! We've had some cold weather, but no snow at all so far this year. I think you have enough to share (but you can keep it)! Yes, I've been ordering and dreaming and even doing a little planting, just to get out of my winter hibernation mood. I didn't get the snow for my dear husband to shovel, but he did go shovel up Annie and Otto's winter poo. It was getting pretty bad!

Hi Karrie, Isn't it fun to make those dishcloths. You can do it while you watch TV or if going on a trip in the car! We haven't seen this much snow in a long time! Nancy

Oh my goodness! Nancy, that's a lot of snow! I've only seen that much here in the March storm of 93! Never since, though. It's very cold here, 10. We hardly ever experience such cold! I read a few months ago that we were going to have a really cold winter, and they were right! Burrrr....!!! Such a wonderful gardener you have! Ya'll stay warm and safe! I'm not going outside until it warms up to at least 25! Blessings from Bama!

Oh My ... that is some snow. I guess the moisture will be good for the soil. We are cold (Texas) but no sleet or snow. Love those knitted dish cloths. Do you make them for sale? I have some but thought they were crochet.
Stay safe and well.
Blessings in 2014 and forever.

I just bought The Edible Garden a few days ago. I just recently discovered the BBC show by the same name - only 6 episodes. Alys Fowler is my new favorite!

Hi the striped rose, Thanks for visiting my blog. I enjoyed reading the Edible Garden, did you? Love her videos too and wish she had more. I did come across one with someone I watched. Also have her book, "Garden Anywhere" if you have not read that one. What is the BBC show? Nancy

Oh goodness...hard to believe that it will all go away and you will be gardening again. Here it Florida, I am happy to say we survived our 2 days of winter and it's back in the 80's.

Progress in the Courtyard!

It was so nice to look out my bedroom window this morning and see the Clematis blooming instead of a pile of snow.  It is a rainy day agai...
