Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!!!

I was almost out of apple slices so got busy and we did up another dehydrator full!  Yum!  Hubby uses the apple peeler that peels and  slices the apples and I arrange them in the dehydrator.  Many hands or four hands I should say make light work!

How discouraging it was to see this one day last week!!!

Bought a new thermometer for my cold frame today.  It is smaller than what this picture shows it to be!

Also bought three new pots today to plant some onions and a butternut squash outside my back yard.  Is this what you call faith!?!?  Perhaps warmer weather will come soon!  I am afraid Coco might eat the onions back there and my husband does not like the squash running all over the grass he has to mow.  There is cement here so hopefully the squash will run all over the cement and produce me lots of squash!  How are your gardens doing?

That sure is a lot of snow! We keep having cold dreary days with lots of rain, then fabulous beautiful days, and then back to rain and dreariness. Hopefully everything will melt and spring will come very, very soon.

Our snow is quickly melting out. The ground however is still frozen. It ought to thaw fairly fast though if the sun stays out.

Hi Nancy! Love the photo of ya'll! Looks like a warm day. Was it taken recently? The snows looks like it's melting some. Hope you won't have any more snow this Spring! I hope the butternut squash will do well in the pot! It will be interesting to see how our gardens do this year. Thanks for sharing! Blessings from Bama!

We finally got a few things planted in the garden, then the next day the wind was terribly strong, the temps dropped and it rained about two inches. In spite of it all, the plants looked to be o.k.

Good luck with your container plants.

Adorable picture of you two. I think you guys have a lot of fun in whatever you do. The apples look so good. I just know you will soon have your gardens up and producing, that is if you can ever get rid of the snow. We need the moisture and even snow would have been welcome.
Blessings,
