Davis Harvest!

Another big blueberry harvest!!!  Aren't you envious!!

Green seems to be the color theme for this picture.  One cabbage, one green pepper and two zucchini!!

Green and now red!!  I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet!  Raspberries are starting to ripen nicely now!  Yum!

Three green beans picked today so guess I had better check my other box in the morning.  It is so hot and humid here that I don't want to be out in the afternoons!  I wonder if this is how our summers will be like from now on!

All out of dehydrated apples so we got another dehydrator full going today.  This is the start of the hopefully big busy harvest season!!  So much to be done!  Hope your gardens are producing wonderfully!!  Have a good week!

You still have more blueberries than me! Those raspberries look delicious. I still haven't harvested a cabbage, they seem to be taking forever.

Hi Julie, Lol about the blueberries. I haven't given up yet on them. We do love our raspberries and usually do well with those. I have more cabbage to harvest. So much to do now that the gardens have started producing! Nancy

We'll get a ton of blueberries starting this week, but I envy those raspberries! My raspberry harvest usually looks like Dave's blueberry harvest, LOL

Hi Leigh, Well, I guess we can't have it all but sure would like too!! Good luck to you! Nancy

There may not have been many blueberries but I bet they were good! And those raspberries - yum. I really need to get myself a dehydrator. Dehydrated apples are soooo good, but cost a fortune at the store.

Actually I am envious. The birds are eating our blueberries before they are ripe so I'm not getting any.

Hi Margaret, Dehydrated apples are easy to do and no preservatives! Love our raspberries and wishing we had more blueberries! Nancy

Hi Daphne, Maybe if I keep at it some day I will get lots of blueberries! At least that is my wishful thinking! Nancy

Hi Nancy! I wonder if your humidity feels like ours! It's almost smothering here! And that's on a cloudy day! Your harvests are nice! I'm not getting that many blueberries, although I have 4 bushes. I need to read more about growing them. Our season is a little ahead of yours as we are almost at the end of the green bean and raspberry harvest. I'm in over my head! I hope to get through by next week? Thanks for sharing! Blessings from Bama!

Hi Felecia, Probably some of our temps would not be considered that warm in some places but our back yard is fenced in and seems so hot later in the day. I think blueberries need acid soil and lots of water. I work at making my soil acid but am lax on keeping them watered! Hope yours do better next year! Nancy

Progress in the Courtyard!

It was so nice to look out my bedroom window this morning and see the Clematis blooming instead of a pile of snow.  It is a rainy day agai...
