The sugar peas are done now but I enjoyed them while they lasted!
Enjoying the lettuce and kale being picked from the garden now!
A friend gifted me with a jar of her homemade mayo made from her organic eggs to try. She used some chive blossom vinegar in it that I had given to her.
Gracie enjoying s'mores made in the microwave! Almost as good as over a campfire!
Cali is enjoying her s'mores also. Doesn't that just make you want one!! I had one and it was soooo yummy!
This was taken of the lavender a few days ago. I think it is even prettier now. The bees seem to love it too!
My sheep had to be moved over to the rose circle as it was getting too crowded in the flower bed. They don't seem to mind!
The flower bed has too much yellow in it and I have yellow other places in my yard too! Need more pink!!!! Time to do rearranging this fall! Love the pink and purple colors.
Coco is taking care of "Wonderful Gardener" who had arthroscopic surgery on his knee. She takes her job seriously and no one know what a hard life she has!!!!
There must be a bunny or a bird the other side of the fence. Coco likes to dig under it which is a no no! There was a bunny that got in our yard one time. She was chasing the bunny around the yard and I was chasing her. What a laugh the neighbors must have had! I hope they weren't watching!
Love the pupster looking "thru" the fence. lol
Hope he Mr's leg heals quickly with no complications.
Your gardens all look great! Hope you have a great weekend- xo Diana
Your garden is looking so nice! The peas look yummy - I think my sugar snap peas will be ready for harvest any day now & I'm so looking forward to it. And I wouldn't mind having a bunny patrol in my yard!
I had to put up a pic of my lavender too. It is so pretty right now. Unlike you I don't have too much yellow. But I think I put in too much orange in the new perennial garden. And the kniphofia that is supposed to be red is also an orange. Sigh. Though I can't wait to see what my orange rudbeckia looks like. If I don't like it I can replace it with red or yellow from another part of the garden.
Hi Nancy! Hope your gardener recovers quickly from his knee surgery! The lavendar is lovely! So are all your flowers! Coco is so funny! I wonder if she hears a mole? The girls sure look like they are enjoying their smores! Your kale and lettuces look yummy! I wished our weather was a bit cooler so I could grow those! Maybe this fall! Enjoy your weekend and I hope you feel better! Blessings from Bama!
Hi NanaDiana, Thanks for the good wishes. The mister is getting around with a cane but still some pain. Takes times. Love our little furbaby! Nancy
Hi Margaret, Hope your peas do great. Mine are about done now. My little bunny patrol furbaby also likes to dig holes under the fence so that has to be watched too! Nancy
Hi Daphne, Well, some of our best plans go astray! I would rather have yellow than orange but plan to do some rearranging as soon as I can. I usually cut a little lavender to dry but didn't this year. Do you dry yours? Nancy
Hi Felecia, Thanks for the get well wishes. I guess it will be awhile. Good luck on growing kale and lettuce this fall! I sure hope Coco doesn't smell a mole! Nancy
Wish my lavender looked that good. I have had one plant for several years and it is just ugly. Maybe I should learn to grow it. So nice that you are getting nice veggies from your garden. Wishing your "Wonderful Gardener" a lot of luck and short recovery time with his surgery. I will soon be going through that.
Hugs and thanks for sharing your beautiful gardens.
Hi Audrey, Some of my lavender live but I have had some die too. Not sure what the secret is but most of these have been here for years. I hope everything goes well with your surgery and that you recover quickly. I have not been feeling well and waiting for another lyme test to come back before proceeding forward. I don't like being able to do lots!! Nancy
Thank you so much for visiting. I am tickled to find your blog and can tell I will enjoy reading it. We had a Lab named Cocoa a few years ago. Your Cocoa looks so sweet and pretty. Are Cali and Gracie your granddaughters? I love their names! Poppy and I were trying to makes Smores a few nights ago using the gas stove to roast the marshmallows. That was about the messiest thing we've tried lately. :)
Hi Henny Penny, I am glad that you could visit! Yes, Gracie and Cali are our youngest granddaughters. Try making the S'mores by putting the marshmallow in the microwave for a few seconds. They turned out well. Our son has a brown lab. Her name is Hershey! So we have Coco and Hershey. All we need now is Nestle's Quick! Have a good week. Nancy
Hello Nancy and thank you for visiting my blog. I love finding new blogs to visit and do try to visit often. My sugar peas are just beginning now and so are the zucchini. I love stir-frying those with some onion and garlic. Yum.
Your grandchildren are adorable, and that really does make me want a a smores! I hope your husband is feeling better. It's a good thing he has Coco to care for him! :) Love the lavender and the sheep!!
Hi Granny Marigold, It is nice to meet you. I am wondering how you arrived at your blog name? It will be awhile before my zucchini is ready. Too bad the sugar peas and the zucchini wasn't ready at the same time! At least this gives me a chance to enjoy one at a time! Nancy
Hi Vicki, Thanks! I don't dare have the ingredients for s'mores in the house or I would be tempted to eat them all the time! My hubby is doing better. Thanks! Love my sheep. I grew up on a farm and we raised sheep. Nancy
Love the Lavender! I adore lavender, my hubs thinks I'm nuts, but I think it makes a garden!
Hi Rosie, I am glad that you could pay me a visit! I like just a faint smell of lavender. I usually dry a little each year but think I may be too late to do that this year. Oh, well, next year! Nancy
Your garden is so pretty! Such a delight to behold. And Coco is such a good dog. :)
Hi Leigh, Thank you! I have Lyme disease so cannot keep my garden up like I would normally do. Coco is a good dogs.....sometimes!! LOL Nancy
