What a change!!

What a change in the weather we have had!  It feels like fall now and I got out a few fall decorations.  Soon it will be time to get the Christmas ones out!!!  Suppose to get back in the 80's the middle of the week.  Not too bad but I prefer 75 degree weather.  I don't always get what I want!!

What a surprise that the lettuce survived that heat!  Since I have had the Lyme my appetite has changed at times.  Right now lettuce does not sound appetizing!  Wouldn't you know it!

This big picking of beans came from the two pots in the driveway that I planted after harvesting the onions.  I was concerned I would not have enough beans in the freezer for the two of us and Coco but think I have plenty now with this and some other ones I picked.

And raspberries!  I wonder how much longer and they will say "I quit!"  I am not complaining though.

Does anyone remember this material I posted quite awhile ago?  I finally got it out and started on the quilt.  Not much done yet and it will take me awhile but if I sew a seam every now and then I will get it done!  Slow and steady wins the race!

Lovely raspberries. We seem to be getting the same weather that you have. I've really liked the 70s and am not looking forward to the warmer weather predicted this week.

Hi Daphne, Yep! Too bad we can't order the weather we want! I think the raspberries must be about done! Nancy

So nice that you are getting more reasonable temps.
Will you be showing us your Fall decorations?
I'm impressed with the produce you're still getting from various pots etc. Next year I intend to try that as well.

Hi Granny Marigold, I am surprised at how many beans I got from those pots! Do try it next year! I am afraid that picture is almost the extent of my fall decorations! Hehe Nancy

It has been a bit of a roller coaster ride with the weather recently, hasn't it? Boy what I wouldn't give for some lettuce right now - we have been without for over a month so I'm hoping that my tiny transplants get a move on & size up quickly.

Hi Margaret, Yes, the weather sure keeps us gardeners on our toes! I wish I could give you some lettuce about now since it doesn't sound good to me at this point! Nancy

Hi Nancy, your mantel looks lovely. I took all of my summer things off the mantel this morning and decorated a little bit for fall. I decided to keep it simple, so most of my fall stuff is staying in boxes this year :) Your raspberries look so delicious . . . I planted some this year, they didn't do much of anything, but grow, so I am thinking that next year we might actually have a nice crop :)
Our weather has cooled off too and we are enjoying it so much. I hope that I never see another summer that is as hot and dry as our last one was. I do hope that you and your hubby are feeling better.
Have a lovely day.
Connie :)

Hi Connie, Thank you! Sometimes I like plain and simple too! I started out with three raspberry bushes and now I am giving runners away! I am glad they do so well here and not that much work except picking them when it is hot! Hubby's knee is doing so much better and I am at about a 20 percent improvement on my fatigue. Thank you for your concern. Nancy

Nancy, I;m sorry that I inadvertently deleted your last comment on my blog ( My Morning Walk). I meant to press publish and hit delete instead. You're right about God protecting me. I could really have been hurt.

Slow and steady is always good advice!

Cooler weather is always project weather for me. Nothing like a good hand project on your lap when the temperature dips. :)

Glad to see your garden still doing so well.

Hi Leigh, Well, I am slow but not always steady! LOL Soon enough it will be snow and no garden for me. Having a beautiful day today though! Nancy
