The weather the past couple of days has been so nice and things are starting to grow! This is the flower/raspberry bed.
I cut the Clematis back and it is growing. Can you see it towards the top of the picture?
Spearmint came back!
Chives are doing well! Can't wait for those pretty lavender blossoms!
I was going to throw this little bench out but Sue talked me into keeping it so found a place in the garden to put it.
So far the new strawberry plants are doing well!
Comfrey came back again.
The Chandelier Pear tree is in bloom by the deck! We have a lot of them around the area. Wondering if I am allergic to the blossoms!
The blossoms on the peach tree are opening up!! I love the pink color!
This is one of the Asian Pear trees starting to bloom.
Coco patiently waiting for me to get in the recliner to rest so she can get on my lap! Thanks for visiting!

Every thing is looking great! Don't you just love this time of year?
Still too cool here for much growth or blooming. My rhubarb is starting to put on some growth, my neighbor's apricot tree is blooming and some tulips close to the house have enjoyed the protection and heat enough to bloom.
Hi Leigh, Yes, I sure do love this time of year and it seems like it took forever to get here! LOL Nancy
I always cut the flower buds off my chives. Do you use them for anything? How about Comfrey.... I'm not familiar with it. What do you do with it?
I love this time of year when things start growing again.
I'll check back here to see if you've had time to answer.
Hi Tired Teacher, The past couple days here have been so nice! Your flowers will soon start blooming too. Enjoy your rhubarb! I don't have any growing. Thanks for the visit! Nancy
Hi Granny Marigold, Glad you could stop by! I use the chive flowers to make chive blossom vinegar which I use in my home made sloppy joe recipe. I also have a Chive Blossom Vinegar dressing. I have also bartered the chive blossom vinegar for organic eggs! I am not real familiar with Comfrey but know it is good fertilizer, helps break down the compost and you can make comfrey tea fertilizer for your garden. And yes, I love it when things start finally growing in the spring also! Nancy
Wow - it's full speed ahead in the garden isn't' it? We are finally having a stretch of great weather and I am taking full advantage and tidying things up before they get too far along. And that bench is lovely - I'm glad you were convinced to keep it! If it were in my garden, I would probably place a couple of terra cotta pots with some overflowing annuals in it :)
Hi Margaret, Yes, gardening tasks are beginning but so is the heat. I don't do well working in the heat so will have to try to do more in the mornings or evenings. Where is the inbetween weather! LOL Pots os flowers on that little bench does sound lovely! Hmmmmm Thanks for visiting! Nancy
So nice to see everything blooming! You are ahead of us by a few weeks. We are finally enjoying some Spring weather too.
Isn't it nice to see things grow again. I thought for sure we lost alot of plants due to the early freezing temps we had, but the peonies made it through for me. I spent time in the garden too this weekend.
Glad you are seeing your plants and flowers "springing" to life after the long winter. Enjoy.
Hi Cat Lover, Thanks for visiting! Yes, it is so nice to have warmer weather but it seems like it went from winter to summer! Now I hope we have some medium type weather for a bit! Nancy
Hi Betty from My Irish Cottage Home, Yes, it sure is thrilling to see things finally starting to grow! Glad to hear your peonies were okay. We don't have any anymore but I love them. Glad you got some time to spend in your gardens. Enjoy! Nancy
Hi Audrey, Nice to hear from you. Yes, it is really nice to see some growth in the plants after the winter! Always anxious to see that! Nancy

Good Morning Nancy,
While Fall is my favorite season of the year, Spring comes in a close second. It's always such a blessing when we see those first bits of green start sprouting up and coming back to life for another season. The blossoms on your peach tree are very pretty. I hope you and your husband will be able to spend many hours enjoying your garden together.
Hi Gloriade, Glad for your visit! My husband is not a garden lover but he does enjoy looking out at the flowers and beauty of the yard from the deck and eating the food! LOL Nancy
Hi, Nancy! Your asparagus looks nice. I just planted mine last summer so it is still tall and super skinny. :( All of your garden beds look lovely. Your granddaughters are precious!
Vicki
I love all your fruit trees!! Someday, perhaps.....
Your little Coco is just too cute, oh my gosh!!
Hi Vicki, Thanks! Nice to have you visit! The hard part is waiting the year or two until you can start picking your asparagus but it is worth the wait! Nancy
Hi Mountain Mama, Thanks! I don't know a lot about growing fruit trees but hoping we don't get a late hard frost and that I will have some fruit to pick! Hope you get to plant some! Nancy
