What a nightmare but we are moved into the apartment! My lyme disease had worsened and my lyme doctor is on medical leave of all times. One more move to survive in 4-6 months yet! I took some pictures of my yard and garden for memories. The sunflowers worked well growing in the old compost place. There were more than this blooming later. The husband of the couple that bought our place likes to garden and had one so I am happy about that.
I will miss eating the asparagus in the spring!
I will really miss putting the raspberries in the freezer for pies but the two starters I potted up and put in Mike's garden are doing well!
One of the Asian pear trees. Fruit looks larger than it actually is.
Another Asian fruit tree and again the fruit looks larger than it is in this picture.
Another fruit tree. This is peach and again the fruit did not look this large.
Hibiscus blooming!
I especially liked this picture!!
I will miss the climbing rose bush by the arbor that is finally starting to bloom and grow!
Got to harvest cucumbers before I moved!
And my carrots even though they weren't real big. One more zucchini there too.
This tomato ripened and we ate it today!
The girls came for a visit after we moved. This is Cali playing with the Barbie dolls that I brought to our apartment for them.
The apartment has a pool. Mike and the girls enjoyed a swim. The water was cold!!
I brought all of my potted plants and set them on the small patio. Just enough room to walk through. Well, these are pictures for my memories. If your still reading thank you for visiting. When our new house is built it will be interesting to see what I can do with a courtyard! Stay tuned for our life here in the apartment for a bit!

I'm sorry to hear that your Lyme disease has flared up. I wonder, did the stress of moving have anything to do with it? And, to add to the trouble your doctor goes on medical leave! But, at least you're in your apartment and your potted plants survived the move, as did you. Hope you feel better very soon.
Oh, well done Nancy ~ you made it! The apartment doorway looks so pretty with all your plants collected together...instant garden! Nice to see you with your hubby.
Very much hope that the Lyme gets under control again ~ its a nasty thing.
I didnt know that you are having a *new* new home built. That is pretty exciting :)
I'll be back to see how you settled in, when you post again.
I'm so sorry you are having trouble with a flare-up. Hope you feel better soon.
Your pots of flowers look wonderful there. Hope you are happy there until the house is built. Best of luck to you!
Hi Granny Marigold, Thanks! I was having a problem with my Lyme before we moved but I imagine overworking and stress did not help. Still trying to get organized in the little apartment but gaining ground! Nancy
Hi Alex, Thanks! Yes, it is pretty exciting getting a new home. It is a condominium but they are all separate houses with small fenced in courtyards in between each home and they will take care of all the outdoor maintenance except for my courtyard which I can do what I want with. I just have to be patient! Nancy
Hi Sue, Thanks! I am hoping that the Lyme will go back into remission soon. Lyme disease is the pits! Thanks for commenting! Nancy
Wow there's been a ton happening in your world while I've been missing! Sorry your Lyme is acting up, and what a time for it, with the move! I'm sure you were sad leaving that lovely garden, but on to the next phase of your life!
Wow - such lucky people, moving into your old place...I would have loved to have a ready garden like that with all those fruit trees and berry bushes!
I'm glad that your (1st) move is over and hopefully you can now sit back and recover - a move is never easy. And all those potted plants are sure to make you smile every day!
I'm so sorry to hear that your Lyme disease has come back. I had no idea how bad Lyme disease can be until recently. Hope you get better real soon. Sorry too that I've missed your last three posts, gosh, and here you've moved already. I love the memory pictures and especially the picture if you two with all the potted plants in bloom around you. I will be keeping up with your new apartment life. Take care. Henny
It is always said to leave a home you loved, but how exciting to move to another and start more memories. Will look forward to hearing you journey.
Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog and I'm very sorry to hear of your health problems. I've read a few of your posts and it seems as if you've had several moves in the past few years. We had always hoped to travel in our RV when Hubby retires but with health issues, he's thinking he'll be at least 70 before that day will come. I would love to live in an apartment now. Less cleaning, but I would miss my garden. I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit. Please come again. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy
Hi Mountain Mama, Thanks for the sympathy. That always makes one feel better! LOL Nancy
Hi Margaret, I am glad that the people that bought our house had a garden and he likes to garden. Having my plants here does help a little with enjoyment. Nancy
Hi Henny Penny, Lyme disease is hard to understand and treat and most people don't know much about it. Gets discouraging at times but then lots of people are worse off. Nancy
Hi Betty, Yes, it is sad to leave one's home and garden but exciting too and we know this is best for us in this time of our lives. Glad you could visit! Nancy
Hi Betsy, Thank you for taking the time to visit me. I will miss my garden this fall and it will seem funny not to be preserving a lot but I really don't feel up to it right now so maybe all for the best! You take care. Nancy
Hope you get to feeling better soon Nancy.
Your little patio looks so pretty.
Change is always hard, but I am so grateful that God has given us the capability to have memories!
Best of luck to you in this new adventure of life. Feel better.
Hi Cheryl, My lyme doctor has gone on medical leave and don't know when he will be back. I have an appointment with a new one the end of August. Appreciate your prayers. It is so nice that I can have my plants on the patio to enjoy. Nancy
Oh Nancy, I am so sorry to hear your Lymes Disease has flared up and of all times for your Doctor to be away... Please know that you will be in my prayers.
I can imagine you will miss your previous home and all the delights there, but I have an idea you will make your new place a wonderful place of memories. I am truly amazed at your gardening skills as your flowers are stunning! I must confess that I love flowers, but sadly I don't have a green thumb.
Thank you for the visit to my blog today - I so enjoyed your sweet comment. The tea cups and plates are not glued together. I simply stacked them together and served light-weight food on them :)
Hugs and blessings to you!
Hi Stephanie, Thank you for taking the time to answer my question about the plates and tea cups and thank you for praying for me and my lyme disease. Don 't give up on gardening. Some things turn out and some things don't! Keep trying. I just love all the "pretties" on your blog! Nancy
It is great that the couple that bought your home likes to garden. The lady that bought ours has just let the yard go and it saddens me to drive by there. I love this last photo . . . the two of you are a very cute couple :)
Hi Connie, I was glad when I found out that man liked to garden. I had to let my garden get neglected because of packing, the heat and my lyme so he had quite a lot of work ahead of him! Nancy
