House and Flowers

We were surprised at the progress made on our house!

Sue brought me beautiful flowers and some  candy.  I am trying to only eat one candy a day!  Not always succeeding!   They are so yummy!

This is September.  I still have some color left on my plants on the patio!

There are a few other people here that like plants also!  Aren't these beautiful!!

My favorite is this upper balcony one!!  Even a hummingbird feeder hanging.  She has the woods right behind her so I am surprised she gets enough light.  I wonder if she goes out there and pretends she is in a treehouse!  How neat is that!  I would like to meet her!  Thanks for reading!!

Progress is definitely happening!!
Flowers and candy? Was it by any chance your birthday? I do not think I'd be able to keep myself to one candy a day either. Not if I really liked them.

Hi Granny Marigold, Well, I slipped and had two candies one day! The flowers and candy from Sue was because I was not feeling good. Wasn't that nice! Nancy

Hi Audrey, Thanks! I am hoping I will have enough sun to grow a few things but it is not a very large courtyard. We will see how I do!! Nancy

I remember living in Everett Washington one summer and we had some plants on one side of our patio which gave us some privacy out there. Our inside cat found it a treat to go out on there with me. The LARGE dog that covered the next patio down kept us on our toes up on our patio. *big smile* He just laid there with a lazy grin on his lips watching us on our patio. *smile* Thank you for sharing and it looks like your house is coming right along. *smile* Have a great day remembering to pray always. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!

Hi Gloriade, They are coming right along on the house. Took more pictures today and more progress so will post them next week probably. Not fast enough to suit me though! Yes, we picked out our colors quite some time ago. Nancy

Progress in the Courtyard!

It was so nice to look out my bedroom window this morning and see the Clematis blooming instead of a pile of snow.  It is a rainy day agai...
