The roof is all on now! We drove down on Saturday but forgot our camera! Next will be drywalling the inside and putting the siding on. Can't wait to get in!!
The fireplace will be nice!
My new boots to walk Coco when it is raining and to work in the courtyard when it is wet!
Coco is listening to Bob making noises in the kitchen and wondering if he might be dropping something accidentally on the floor she can eat!
What is this world coming to!! I bought Bob an apple pie. He said it is good too. I could count on my one hand all the times I have bought a pie in my life!!!!

I cannot believe how quickly your new home is going up - wow, you must be so excited, Nancy!!!! I can't wait to see it all finished and watch you settle into your new home!
I Mountain Mama, Not going up fast enough to suit me!! Haha Struggling with Lyme Fatigue now so hope I have enough energy to enjoy it when the time comes to move! Nancy
What a beautiful home it will be! I so want a one level home but can't quite convince Hubby to move. I've bought a pie or two in my life but much prefer my homemade crust.
Blessings,
Betsy
It must be exciting to see the progress on your new home and know exactly what will go where.
Oh- It is coming together beautifully. I am anxious now to find a new home for ourselves when ours sells. You are going to be in there before you know it. xo Diana
Hi Betsy, Thanks! It was time for us to make yard work easier and God opened up these doors for us. Homemade pies are the best! Nancy
Hi Tired Teacher, We have kind of planned what will go where because even though the house looks large from the outside it is not that large inside. We got rid of a lot of things and will probably have to get rid of a few more. Nancy
Hi NanaDiana, Your house is so beautiful it will most likely sell fast! Are you downsizing? I hope things go well. Nancy
Wow! Loving the progress. And that pie too ♥

Ooo...it's almost there! Hopefully it won't be too long until you are filling your new home with the smells of homemade apple pie :)
Hi Summer, Thanks! I sure hope so! Love that name Summer! Sounds like nice weather! LOL
Hi Margaret, Almost, almost but a ways to go!! Can't wait. Nancy
Isn't it exciting to see progress being made!! I just hope you feel better soon. I'm not familiar with the effects of Lyme disease but I'm very sure they're not pleasant.
I am so excited for you. Hugs,
Audrey Z.
Hi Granny Marigold, Thanks. There are no quick fixes or cookie cutter answers for chronic Lyme disease. Probably it won't be so exciting seeing what they accomplish inside the house but know all those things have to be done! Nancy
Hi Audrey, Thank you! Sometimes I am positive and sometimes I am not! Nancy
Very exciting to see walls going up. I was amazed at how strong that Tyvek was and how long it lasted through the weather. I love progress pictures on houses, now that we've built one and I know what I'm looking at. Those boots are cute, and if your weather is anything like ours has been lately, you'll get a lot of use out of them!

Hi Bee Lady, Thanks! I was wondering if my house pictures I keep posting are boring to others so thanks for the feedback. Hard living in this apartment and this time of year to have something interesting to post! Nancy
Your home progress is really going great. Pleased to see that. I am sure everything will fall in right place and we will see beautiful home very soon.
You must be so excite!. I can't believe how quick your house is going up. Probably seems like it is taking forever to you though. Usually if I do buy a pie, it's an apple pie. With a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, it's delicious! Coco looks so sweet.
Hi Henny Penny, I am glad for your visit. I wish I could move in tomorrow! Quite often boughten apple pies have apples in them that aren't done but this one seemed to be really good. Nancy
Woo hoo! the roof is going on. That's so exciting! And that fire place looks lovely. I am so happy for you and the progress on your new home. Cute boots and love the quilt they are sitting on. Great job. Have a lovely day. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more! p.s. from the state of Washington to the state of Idaho ...you question earlier, I found a way to share that was still vague enough for our comfort here on such a public platform. *smile* Blessings!
Hi Blessings, Yes, it is great to see the roof on and more done. Thanks on the boots and the quilt my daughter made years ago. I love it but it does need some repair. Glad you could visit! Nancy
Hi Nancy,
It looks like things are moving along. We just went through all the stages of house building with our son and his wife. They are now happily moved in and looking forward to their first baby. It will be your turn before you know it.
Hi Gloriade, It will nice to have my turn to move into our new house but not to have a baby! LOL How long did it take them to build their house? Nancy
I am thinking they started the beginning of summer and moved in the last week of August...so about 3 - 3 1/2 months.
Hi Gloriade, Thanks for that information. We were told about 4 and 1/2 months. I am just hoping sooner! Nancy
