Sure wish my Mom would stop taking pictures of me!  I have to be patient with her because she is elderly!

Cement poured in the driveway!

Nice to see the brick is on!

Ceramic tile by the front door.  Grout has to be put in yet.

Michael had a birthday!!

Birthdays are more fun with kids!!

Our kitchen cabinets stored in the garage waiting to be put up.

My egg lady's chickens are laying again so I was able to get these pretty, yummy eggs!

Beautiful rose from my sweet husband!  I am so lucky!

I cut these flannel squares out and sewed together in rows for a lap quilt before we moved.  By working away at it a little at a time I finally got the rows sewed together.  It will have to wait till we move to get finished so that I will have more room and hopefully more energy to work.  Thanks for visiting!

Roses from your hubby are gorgeous. Love it.
Love what you have done on your lap quilt so far. It will be wonderful to be able to finish it.
Hope you have a blessed Sunday- xo Diana

The rose is so delicate and pretty. You are lucky.
I like the eggs of varying colours. I know they all taste the same but they look so appealing.
And the quilt is lovely with the brown squares giving it an Autmnish look.

Coco is so cute! I love the windows in your new home. You must be so excited, so much to look forward to. It's sweet the way the girls are smiling in the birthday picture. I would faint if Poppy came home with a beautiful rose for me. You have a good husband...but then I bet you are a good wife and he appreciates you.

Hi NanaDiana, Thanks! You and me both can't wait for the house to come together! Looking forward to getting the lap quilt finished also. Our apartment is tiny here and so many things are in storage. Nancy

Hi Granny Marigold,
Thanks! I am lucky as my hubby brings me a rose every once in awhile. Don't you just love the dark gold of the yolks in free range eggs! I understand they are better for us also. Nancy

Hi Sue, Thanks! I wonder how well I will like those windows at window washing time! At least they wash the outside ones for us. Nancy

Hi Henny Penny,
Thanks! We love your little Coco but I bet you love Eli just as much! The little girls keep things interesting! I don't think I am always a good wife but he brings me a rose every once in awhile! Nancy

Your house looks exactly like what I would choose in a home. Ours is way too big for us. I really like your sweet little quilt too.
Blessings,
Betsy

Looking so pretty. Won't be long now.

Hi Betsy, The house looks huge from the outside I think but inside not so large. It is probably close to 1700 square feet but no basement. We had a finished basement where we came from and it added a lot of space. This will be plenty large! Nancy

Hi Alex, I have my fingers crossed to be in by the end of November but we shall see! The first flannel quilt I have ever done I think. Nancy

Hi Audrey, Thanks. I sure hope it won't be long! Nancy

Oh, you are almost at the finish line! It will be so exciting once you finally move in! The quilt is lovely - I think we sometimes forget that every little bit counts when it comes to a larger project. A few minutes here and there and your done before you know it.

Hi Margaret, Sometimes if I am not in the mood to work on a project if I just make myself do a bit at a time it gets done! Nancy
