Am I crazy! I am sure my neighbors will think so! This is my new cold frame! 8 foot long and 2 foot wide!
This is the cover for it. I didn't realize it would be so big! This is what you call "organic therapy" for me! It is sitting in the garage until we get it put on.
We attended Cali's first grade grandparent's day. The years are flying by and our youngest grandchild is growing up. Shhhhhh! There will soon be a great-granddaughter!! Can't wait!
Sue is doing the decorations for the baby shower. Here she is working hard creating. They will be awesome!
I transplanted my Christmas cactus into a larger pot. Looking forward to next Christmas when it blooms again! (hopefully)
Coco has settled into her new home quite well. I thought it was time for some Coco pictures!
Coco is always hoping for something to eat! I am just about out of the green beans from the freezer for her breakfast! Thanks for visiting and take time to soak up this sunshine while it lasts!

Sunshine? You have sunshine? Lucky girl. :-). It's snowing here again this morning. Cocoa looks happy in her new home and you look happy to be with your granddaughter. That's why we're considering a move back to the Midwest after retirement. To be closer to family. We really miss that. I don't think I've ever seen a cold frame before...if it did I didn't know what it was. I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide to plant. Have a lovely Monday.
Blessings,
Betsy
Oh my--how wonderful is it!! Lucky you. I can't wait to see what you plant in there.
Enjoy!!
:)
Hi Betsy, Yes we have had sunshine for a few days but it is about to turn colder. I have been soaking up all that I can of it! Where in the midwest does your family live? You may have told me but if so i have forgotten! We did not live close enough to some of our grandchildren as we do these ones so have enjoyed being a part of their lives. Take care. Nancy
Hi Sue, I am lucky to have that nice big raised bed/cold frame. Will look forward to seeing all you grow this year! Nancy
No, you're not crazy! How smart you are to have that cold frame. You will enjoy using it! Your little granddaughter is so pretty. She is such a cutie pie. Coco sure is sweet too.
Hi Henny Penny, Thanks for your vote of confidence! LOL I don't quite know what I am doing so it will be a learning experience. Nancy
I just called my husband over to see your raised bed. I have been thinking that I'd like something similar and I think I just may get it. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your granddaughter is adorable. Lucky you getting to be a great grandma.
Hi Granny Marigold, I do hope you get your raised bed. It not only will keep Coco out of my veggies but should be easier on the back! I am lucky to be getting to be a great grandma! Thanks! Nancy
Hello Nancy,
Greetings from our home away from home. It sure looks like you have settled happily into your new home and that life is rich and full. Congratulations on soon becoming a great-grandma.
Lots going on at Cozy Thyme Cottage!! Does Coco really eat frozen green beans??? I don't think even my old girl, who will eat pretty much ANYTHING, would eat those! :) Love the new cold frame, awesome!
Hi Nancy ... that cold frame is just the best thing. I know you will enjoy using it. I think I would enjoy one so I would not have to bend over to work it. I know you are loving to be close to your beautiful grandchildren.
Blessings,
Audrey Z.
Hi Gloriade, Thanks! How are you doing? Yes, we are almost all settled now and it seems good. Nancy
Hi Mountain Mama, Yes, Coco loves green beans and almost everything else grown in the garden! She will eat radishes, asparagus, you name it! I think I will enjoy the new cold frame as won't have to bend over so far and Coco can't reach what is in it to snitch! Nancy
Hi Audrey, Yes, I think I will enjoy not having to bend over so far to garden! Also the fact that it will keep Coco out! Maybe you will be blessed like me and be able to get one! Nancy
I love it!!! And so creative!
Hi Karrie, Thank you for visiting! I am glad you like it. It was interesting readying your blog. I hope you do well with your growing adventure! Nancy
