Just Waiting

Just waiting IMPATIENTLY for a little warmer weather and sunshine!!!

So far, so good! What do you think?  I will have butterflies in my courtyard one way or another!!

A closer view!

My "wonderful gardener" is helping.

Time to bring out the spring looking table runner.  Maybe it will help warmer weather to hurry along.

Thought I would post a picture of a quilt I worked on while we were full-timing.

The raspberry pies have been few and far between since we have moved here for "wonderful gardener".  It helps to "butter" up my gardener once in awhile!

I thought when making the pie why not measure out the flour and salt for two more pies!  Did it save me time????  Maybe a couple of minutes!  LOL  Thank you for visiting.  I would love it if you would leave a comment!

I am with you - so ready for planting - but still having too many cool days.
It won't be long.

It's hard to be patient this time of year, isn't it? I'm chomping at the bit to get outside as well. Hopefully your pretty table runner will work to bring you Spring!
And that pie looks sooooo tasty! Yes-we need to keep those hubbies happy!

Oh my ! That pie! I'll be right over. Will your gardener share with me? I have never thought of measuring out the dry ingredients in advance. It's a great idea. I really like your planter boxes...I'm so ready for spring, but I guess it's not ready for me. Have a lovely day!
Blessings,
Betsy

That pie looks delicious! We do a lot of buttering at my house too ;) Those planters are lovely although I have a feeling you'll likely see a few real butterflies grace your garden this year too. Hopefully we will both we out working in the garden very soon...maybe even tomorrow :)

Hi Cheryl, Thank you! I think I will enjoy them. I will probably put herbs in the planter boxes and flowers in the pots against that wall I am hoping that Coco will not eat the herbs! Nancy

Hi Betsy, I am sure my gardener would share a piece of pie with you but I am sorry to say there is none left! I think every person that is a gardener or loves to be outside is impatient about this time of year! Nancy

Hi Margaret, Yes I do hope we will be able to spend more time outdoors soon. I am not sure if I will have real butterflies or not. I tried in my previous yard and was so happy when I saw one or two. Not sure what to expect here. Nancy

awww those little gloves with the yellow ribbing. They are identical to a pair I found the other day. They belong(ed) to the little guy I used to babysit. He would garden with me. He graduates from high school next month. I'm so ready for spring! The pie looks yummy!

Hi Bee Lady, Since we both live in IN we are probably both experiencing the same kind of weather! It sort of teases us with one nice day and then cold and lots of rain! Have a wonderful Easter. Nancy

Progress in the Courtyard!

It was so nice to look out my bedroom window this morning and see the Clematis blooming instead of a pile of snow.  It is a rainy day agai...
