I hope everyone is enjoying a safe and nice 4th of July! "Wonderful Gardener" and I celebrated our 57th anniversary by taking a trip to see the Creation Museum and The Ark.
I would say that is one HUGE boat!
Harvesting tomatoes and Coco was getting into my yard long beans so roasted a couple of these and three little turnips and carrots together. I love roasted veggies.
Since Coco started getting into the yard long beans we put them and the pole beans up on chairs. Not the prettiest but so far it has worked to keep her out of them!
Coco is enjoying some Kale that she helped herself too!
Quilty!! I caught her snitching!!
I no longer have the energy to go blueberry picking so we bought 20 lbs to freeze for our winter supply. I might need to pick up five more pounds yet! Time for my nap!!!! Thank you for visiting! Please leave a comment so that I will know you have been here and have a wonderful month of July.

My brother and his wife are leaving in the morning to go to both of those places. They are really looking forward to it. Nice3 day vacation for them.
happy anniversary to you both. All you garden looks good. Way to go on the blueberries.
Have a good one!
Happy Anniversary!! Looks like you had a nice trip.
And nice veggies too. Keeping them away from Coco calls for ingenuity!!
Hi Cheryl, Thanks! I am glad we got to go to the Creation and the Ark. I hope your brother and his wife enjoy them. Wishing I had my own blueberries growing! Nancy
Hi Granny Marigold, Yes, trying to keep the veggies for me and not for Coco is a challenge in this little courtyard! At least they are good for her! Nancy
Happy Anniversary! the Ark sounds like a fun thing to do! I think you need to have an upper level and lower level garden. The lower level for Coco! Lol!
Hi Karen, Thanks! If I had an upper and lower deck I would need removable stairs!!!!! Nancy
Hi Nancy! :)
Happy belated Independence Day and 57th Anniversary! Wow, that is wonderful! I love the photo of the two of you, you look so happy! :)
Naughty Coco, she's a little bugger lol, right in front of you too! Our Charlie does the same, she tries to get into my lettuce, but she makes sure to look at me first, as though she's challenging me to stop her lol...my chicken wire isn't just for the wild animals around here!
Hi Rain, Thanks! Yes, Coco is a stinker but why is it we still love them anyway! I guess I don't have a big enough courtyard to fence some of it off. Oh, well! Nancy
Happy late anniversary. The ark had to be huge for the job it was to do. *smile* It would be pretty neat to see it in person though. *big smile* Great job with the blueberries! *smile* I haven't found where to pick them locally so I may have to do the same or similar to what you did. *smile* Have a great day remembering to pray and thanking God for His many blessings. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!
Hi withhimalone, Thank you! Can you imagine all the planning and work it took to take enough food aboard for them all and the animals! It said they were even able to grow a few things which I didn't know! It would be nice if you could go someday. Nancy
My parents just returned from a trip to the ark! They went on a bus tour. I need some blueberries...bad! I'm going to have to take a small trip to get some. my dig wouldn't touch veggies so at least Coco is eating healthy!

Happy Anniversary, and congrats on the journey. Warm greetings and best wishes!
Hi Bee Lady, It is nice to take a bus tour but we traveling by ourselves at our own pace as long as we can. Coco will just eat about anything but I know veggies are good for her and try not to fret too much! Nancy
Hi Blogoratti, Thank you for the best wishes and for taking the time to comment! Nancy
We went to Ark in March and I loved every single minute of it! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Hi Creations By Cindy, It was super neat visiting the Ark! Can you imagine loading enough provisions up for that many days and people and animals. I wish I could do that well in grocery shopping ahead. I am sure the Lord guided and gave them strength and wisdom! Nancy
