What do you think? Are these yard long beans going to make it? I started them in the house but I don't have good sunlight and no grow light system. I saved these seeds from last year.
Made gluten free biscuits again. They don't really look like a biscuit but they fill me up!
Added this material, lace and yarn to my stash. I fell in love with the heart design lace you can see in the next picture.
Isn't it just the prettiest! I love hearts anyway.
My two favorite people eating popcorn! (Coco thinks she is a person!) Coco is patiently waiting to be thrown one.
Dehydrating more strawberries! I love my dehydrator.
I like to make two chicken pot pies when I make them and stick one in the freezer. I only put a crust on the top and these are gluten free crusts.
I finally finished this pinwheel couch quilt! It is a gift for a special person.
I used plain blue on the back. I did tie it. My Mom always tied hers from the time I can remember and I like tying them.
Chris sent me cherry tomato seeds she had saved. These two are doing fairly well considering my lighting situation. The pot looks larger than it actually is. It is small enough I can move it to the den window sill in the mornings to get more light. Hoping!!!

My goodness you have been busy. Love the quilt, they are some of my favorite colors. The pot pies look delicious and the popcorn eating crew looks very happy. :-) Chloe does the same thing. She loves popcorn.
The lace with the hearts is absolutely beautiful. Do you have a special project in mind? I also see that you've gotten some of my favorite cotton, "I love this Cotton."
I hope it's warming up a bit for you. We're still in the 40's here which is very unusual. We'll probably wake up one morning and it will be 90 and spring will have never happened. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy
Hi Nancy :) Good luck with the seedlings!!! With such little sun here lately I was afraid my window garden would suffer, but the light seems to be good enough to help them keep growing! Your food looks great and I love how Coco waits for popcorn lol...ours do the same thing!! :)
Hi Betsy, I sure hope we don't skip spring! I am not sure how I will use the lace and you are the one that got me onto I Love Cotton yarn! Thanks! I wonder if popcorn is bad for dogs. Coco sure loves it! Have a good rest of the week! Nancy
Hi Rain, I hope my few seedlings make it! I am glad to hear that your window garden is doing so well in spite of the lack of light. Is there any dog that doesn't love popcorn!! Have a good week! Nancy
What a pretty pinwheel patterned quilt! You must have spent endless hours piecing it together.
Some of my seedlings are also getting tall as they look for sunshine. Hopefully one of these days we'll get some.
Hi Granny Marigold, Thank you! I did spent time here and there to do it so took awhile. I hope we get at least some sunny days for our winter seeds inside even if it can't be warm outdoors! Good luck to you too. Have a good rest of week! Nancy
Sounds like your weather might be warming up Nancy if you are growing seeds. Love the quilt you made for a gift - just gorgeous. And that lace with the hearts on it is stunning!
Hi Julie, Our weather is frustrating with warm and cold. I do like the way the quilt turned out. Not sure how I will use the lace yet. Enjoy the day! Nancy
The quilt is gorgeous - the recipient is one lucky person! So long as the weather is warming up, you should be ok with those beans if you get them outside soon. Around there it's still much too cold to sow beans - it will be a few weeks still.
Hi Margaret, Thank you! It is the up and down weather that makes me wonder what I should do and when! Guess it is just one of those years! Happy Gardening! Nancy
What a delightful post! You have many interests and talents. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Come by anytime. Susan
Hi Susan, Thank you! I probably have too many interests. Jack of all trades and master of none is the saying! I am glad you could visit.
Please come again. Nancy
Hello Nancy, I haven't online in a while and you are the first place I have stopped by. I love seeing all you have been doing. Looks like you have not been letting the long winter and cold early spring months keep you down. You quilt is lovely. As for the green beans and tomatoes, who knows? My gardening results are always so inconsistent from one year to the next. Me raspberry plants are starting to leaf out in their pots so I live in hope. Take and God bless.
Your seedlings look like they will be fine. Beautiful quilting project!!
You sure have been busy! Good for you!
Thank you for visiting Seashells and Lavender. Your sweet comment warmed my heart.

Hi Gloriade, Thank you! I am glad you stopped by. I am really anxious for nice weather and sprint. Hard to know when or what to plant with this up and down weather. Glad your raspberry plats are leafing out for you! Take care. Nancy
Hi Debbie, I am sure hoping the yard long green beans and tomatoes will make it. Hoping our weather straightens out soon so that I can get them outside soon. Glad you could visit! Nancy

DZ Bet, I am glad that your raspberries are doing so well in pots. I have thought about trying one in a pot. The few I have now are in the ground. Nancy
Ooooooh, that lace is so pretty!!! I would not have been able to resist that either... love your pinwheel quilt! I have never tied a quilt before... that is, I have done a bit of both, but not just tied. I should one day... I like the feel it gives... xx
Hi Joy from Days Filled With Joy, Thank you. I have not used the lace yet but I love it. Maybe I just do a mixture on a quilt of tied and hand quilted or machine quilted. Thanks for the idea. Nancy
