Thought I would share a picture of my pinks. They are so pretty but I love pink flowers anyway!
Since I have been under the weather my wonderful gardener brought me a beautiful yellow rose!!! Love my wonderful gardener!!
Meet one of our little granddaughters. This is Gracie and she just graduated from Nursery School. It was a great little program they had!
My radishes I pulled today. Produce is not only yummy but beautiful, don't you think?
I planted Organic Black-Seeded Blue Lake Snap Pole Beans to climb up this trellis. Makes me happy to see they have sprouted and are on their way!
This is Pak Choi. I have never grown it before but am enjoying a few leaves in my salads!
This is some of my thyme in bloom. I enjoy going around the yard and looking at all the pretty blossoms on things. Hope you enjoy it also.
I hope it is okay for dogs to eat bird seed because Coco is eating what fell under the bird feeder. Why do I buy dog food when she eats bird seed and veggies! Maybe I should plant a garden for Coco!
And this is my wonderful gardener enjoying a break! Happy Memorial Day week-end to you all!
Happy Memorial Day weekend to you too. We celebrated our Victoria Day weekend last week. Canada is always ahead of the U.S. (lol).
Lots of cute things in your pics today including your Gracie and Coco.
I agree: veggies are beautiful!
PS: Do you eat the radish leaves? I just started adding them to salads.
Hi Melissa, Always glad to hear from you! I will have to try a little radish leaves in my salad now, that is if I have any left after Coco tonight. Caught her in the act! Are they bitter or what taste? My Pak Choi has little tiny holes in it. What would that be from? My spinach is starting to bolt and it has bigger holes than the Pak Choi. Same bug? I love sweet potatoes. Do you grow them? I had forgotten about your Victoria Day. Use to live just across from Sarnia, Ontario! Nancy
Looks very nice, try to sautee pak choi with a bit of butter, shallots and garlic :)
Beautiful pics and glad your "gardener" is getting a well deserved break!!
Happy Memorial Day!!
Hi Jenny, Thanks for the tip about sauteeing the pak choi. I am loving it in my salads and only planted about 2 ft of it but may have enough to try it. Do you know what is eating the little pin prick holes in it? Hope you will visit again! Nancy
Hi Akannie, Thanks! Yep! My gardener works hard for me! lol Couldn't do it without him right now! Hope you will visit again! Nancy
Happy Memorial Day! Your gardens look wonderful. I look foward to seeing how your Pak Choi does! I am looking to grow some new and different things in the future! You have a wonder gardener taking care of you, how nice! Happy Gardening! Mindy
Hi Mindy, the Ebullient Gardener! I am trying new greens this year too. Wonder if the Pak Choi will do okay in the heat? Have decided I don't like mustard and arugula. love your pretty set up for your gardens. Thanks for visiting! Nancy
Hi Nancy, I'm not sure what might be nibbling your plants.... My spinach (planted in March) is bolting now too which I guess is right on schedule. Young radish leaves taste mildly radish-y. I love sweet potatoes but haven't tried growing any yet. Did you live in Port Huron?~Melissa
Hi Melissa, Yes, we lived in Pt. Huron for over 30 years. Beautiful area! We moved to IN to be near one of our kids in our old age! lol Nancy
Hi Nancy! Your granddaughter is a cutie! and your radishes are beautiful. Hope you are feeling better.
Hi Lisa, Thanks. Gracie is the second to the youngest granddaughter. I wish I was feeling better but thanks for the good thoughts! Come visit again! Nancy
