Oops!
My Raspberry bushes were spilling over into the path! They have been cut and pulled back and a couple wires put on stakes to hold them back.
I planted celery seed in this pot. Do I cut them now and dry them or how do I use them?
Christmas cards are so pretty and I hate to just throw them away. I used this punch to cut out gift tags to be used at Christmas time from a bunch of mine.
I thought this pepper plant was done so I sat it by the door to be thrown out. It didn't get tossed right away and then I saw some peppers growing so have kept it. Who knew!
I missed using my hand lotion bars. I really like them so used my energy one morning to make more. Guess I kinda forgot how to do it! Next time I won't fill them so full. They will be easier to handle and I will probably have enough to fill the forth container. Till next time enjoy each day! Nancy

My pepper plant came back from the brink of death as well.
Berry bush looks great.
I love the gift cards - neat job.
Your raspberry looks fantastic! Mine is suffering from the heat and no rain. :( I love the idea of your Christmas card gift tags. Very clever!
Hello Nancy - I love your gift tags - what a wonderful idea & so useful when christmas comes again. I thought celery grew much bigger than the size of your pot ... I grew some in my veggie garden & it grew quite large. You may have to pot it up into a bigger pot Nancy as the stalks grow fairly big.
Hi Cheryl, I guess I should not be too anxious to throw plants out! Hoping the raspberries will do better next year. Thanks for visiting! Nancy
Hi Leigh, I am glad to be able to repurpose the Christmas cards now! My raspberry plants look good but have not produced a lot so far this year. Thanks for commenting. Nancy
Hi Julie, I thought the gift tags were cute and am glad I could repurpose the cards. I am not sure about this celery. It may just be for the leaves. I did start some celery though from the end of a stalk I had bought so will see how that does! Glad you could visit. Nancy
Nice to see a post today, giving an update on what's been happening out your way. I've never sowed celery seed but yours seemed to have grown well. Your lotion bars will be a joy to use I'm sure. My hands are definitely "gardener's hands" these days and not much for fingernails left!
Hi Granny Marigold, It is hard as gardeners to keep the dirt ou from underneath our fingernails. It is hard to do everything with gloves on! I do love the lotion bard recipe and it is easy to make. Glad you could visit. Nancy
It was great to see you post today. I was just thinking about you yesterday and wondering how you are doing?
I always save Christmas cards too because they're just too pretty to throw away. This is a great idea to use them again. I love lotion bars too. Do you have an easy recipe to share?
Take care my friend,
Blessings,
Betsy
Hi Nancy, It has been a while. I haven't been blogging much. I grow my raspberries in pots and they do quite well. Yours look quite beautiful and healthy. I made some moisture bars as thank you gifts to friends who brought meals to me after my hip surgery this summer. I am glad you are doing better.
Too bad about the broccoli! Our peppers are finally starting to grow a bit, it's so late in our season though. I have no clue about the celery seed! Nice to see a post Nancy! :)
I keep my Christmas cards too, and sometimes get round to re using them...not always!
Loved this post. I've done that before too with the Christmas cards. Makes it a little more special but then I tend to get lazy with the taping and buy the stick on kind. LOL! We just pulled up the rest of our pepper plants. They have been so good this season. My husband loves peppers of any kind and he will surely miss them. Time for me to plant greens now. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Hi Gloriade, I am really not doing better but guess it will take awhile to recover from the effects of sepsis. I just planted a couple raspberry starter in 5 gallon pails so hope mine will do as well as yours! Thanks for visiting. Nancy
Hi Rain, Good to hear your pepper plants are growing. Maybe if he frost holds off you will get quite a few! Thank you for leaving a comment. Nancy
Hi Betsy, I am really not doing too well. I guess it takes awhile to get over the effects of sepsis. I have less energy than I had when I was complaining about chronic fatigue! I know you must get awful discouraged with what your dealing with also. The lotion bar recipe was in "The Made from Scratch Life" book by Melissa K. Norris. Melt equal amounts of beeswax, coconut oil and shea butter and add an essential oil. I use a food scale and double boiler. Thank you for leaving a comment. Nancy
Hi Elizabethd, At least you have good intentions about your Christmas cards. I think it is hard just to get started but then it is fun. Nancy
Hi Creations by Cindy, Thank you. I think we all tend to try to save time around Christmas time. I hope you get your greens planted and they do well. I have some planted in my cold frame so hoping for some good results. Nancy
I love your idea about the Christmas Cards! I am going to be a copy cat and use mine from last year!
Hi Linda, Thank you. I am glad that I was able to help you come up with an idea to reuse your Christmas cards. They are so pretty I hate to just throw them out! Nancy
