It s almost time to garden again so thought I would try to blog again. This is my new helper Rosie. She has torn out plants along my path and dug holes last year. I doubt she will be much better this year! My previous helper Coco died after having her for 15 years.
So far I have winter sown 13 milk jugs. Last year I had a bit of luck doing this so hoping again this year!
This is my blackberry bush I brought in from last year and overwintered in the unheated garage. I cut it back but maybe should have cut it back more?? It has three or four blooms on it already. I can't plant it in the dirt so when it warms up a bit I will set the pot outside. Any suggestions welcome on how to take care of it!
I planted sweet green pepper seeds. Hoping and praying they will germinate. I have always bought the plants before. Nice visiting with you. Have a great rest of week. Nancy

It's lovely to see that you're blogging again. I hope you'll feel like continuing on.
Sorry to hear that Coco passed on and Rosie seems to be a handful. Maybe this year she will be less into digging holes!
I don't know about growing blackberry bushes. The wild ones around here are very invasive. And full of thorns.
Hi Granny Marigold, It is good to hear from you. I am hoping that I can manage with CFS to keep up to a little blogging and reading other blogs. I have missed it. Thank you for commenting. Nancy
Nancy, I have thought about you so many times. Glad to see you blogging again. I was always amazed at how you gardened in pots and boxes and how much produce you were able to gather. Your gardening was probably better than what I do in a 24 x 48' garden spot. So sorry to hear about your sweet Coco. Fifteen years is a long time...I'm sure you missed her so much. Rosie is adorable. I have a few blackberry plants but have never known exactly what to do with them and like you, didn't cut them back very much. Henny
Hi Henny Penny! Thank you for your kind comment and remembering me! I hope do do better on commenting on other blogs and blogging myself....Nancy
Welcome back Nancy! I have been watching for you over the last couple of years. Glad to know you are doing well, although I was sorry to hear about your little Coco. The wild Blackberries grow like weeds out here. One has to be careful or they will take over the whole yard! Looking forward to see your garden progress.
Lovely to see you back blogging Nancy. Welcome back to the blogging community! Your helper Rosie is adorable & I am sure she will be a wonderful help to you. Look forward to seeing all your plantings come to life. xx
Hi Gloriade, Thanks for commenting. Isn't it funny how in some areas things grow as in some areas as a problem and in others we try to get them to grow! It is a real challenge trying to do any gardening with Rosie. ...... Nancy
Hi Julie, I am looking forward to my plants coming to life also! It is a rainy day here and suppose to be more rain tomorrow. I doubt if Rosie is much help in the garden! Thank you for commenting. Nancy
