Ugh! Frost tonight. Blueberry bushes covered, strawberries covered, clematis covered and cold frame cover put down.
Zinnias planted Easter Sunday. Brought in the house tonight along with some other things!
Raspberry runner planted in a pail. Hoping it will grow. We are tired of digging up runners and hope we can get some planted in pails instead.
Most of my milk jugs I planted earlier are doing well.
I planted a green onion that had gone bad and look what grew!
Rosie pulled out my nice two lavender plants last year along the path so picked up a couple new ones. Think I will put them in pots and hope for the best!
Rosie has the right idea! She says "stop gardening and come sit on the swing with me"! Have a nice week. ......... Nancy

I hope that covering a lot of vulnerable plants will protect them from freezing temperatures. Isn't this a strange Spring?
So often I have green onions go funny before I can use them all. I'll definitely try planting them next time. I'm glad you mentioned that trick.
Hi Granny Marigold, I didn't know if I am just impatient for nice weather or if it is colder longer than usual. This was a regular big onion that I planted. But I think the green onions will keep growing too. Stay warm. Nancy
At least if you know frost is coming you can prepare Nancy. I love that photo of Rosie ... she looks like "butter wouldn't melt" in that pic. Very innocent.
It looks like we are getting three nights of a frost, not a hard frost but dropping to about 30 (so far....we'll see.) Thank you for the reminder, I need to pull the flap down on my mini greenhouse in the evenings. The geraniums have been pulled in and are on the dining room floor until this cold spell passes. Meanwhile it was snowing like crazy this morning - nutty weather!
We had frost too! Hopefully that's it for the frosty surprises!
Hi Julie, Thanks. Rosie can look very innocent but she is not. Can't help but love our animals, can we. You with your cat and myself with my dog!......Nancy
Hi Debbie, Thankfully we only got one night of freezing and tonight is suppose to be 33. The only thing I covered tonight was my strawberries and that is because there is a blossom or two. Thankfully we did not have 3 nights of frost like you and no snow right now! Nancy
Hi Margaret, Yes, hopefully we moving to no more frosts and nicer weather. Patience is not my virtue. Now I hope it does not get to be 100 overnight! ...... Nancy
Nice weather here in Florida right now. It's not too hot yet and we've even had a good little breeze. I repotted most of plants that I have on a potting table and sitting outside. I have only planted a few new things so far. The way the weather has been in Florida it's been a tad different with our planting things. Either too cold, too rainy or too something. Mercy! Hope your weekend is good Nancy. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Hi Cindy, I guess I didn't realize you lived on FL. It is not as cold as it was but we are getting rain. Probably too much. Glad I am not a farmer. Must be a concern for them with the weather. We know Goed is in control. Nancy
Hello Nancy! Yes it's so hard to know when it will be safe to begin planting with the spring weather being so uncertain and cool. I am afraid that the only thing I have gotten accomplished is some weeding! I do hope to plant some potatoes in a barrel this week and I thing it's finally safe enough to begin get the geraniums that I have been keeping in the laundry room into the ground. I hope your raspberry will thrive in your bucket. Take care!
Hi Gloriade, I did set my geraniums out. Hope your potatoes do well. I never know how much or when to water mine in my grow bags but hoping for the best!Nancy
