Johnny Jump-ups & Lemon Balm

We had to do errands today so no gardening!  I did buy these cute little Johnny Jump-ups or at least, that is what I call them.  I think they look like little smiley faces.  My son gave me some a long time ago and now I am hooked!  I just love them.

This is my Lemon Balm.  I took this picture so that my friend could see it as she wants a starter.  I haven't gotten it deadheaded yet!  I love the smell of the lemon leaves and it can be used for a tea and other things.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I just came over to see what you are up to. Your lemon balm looks happy and your Johnny Jump-Ups are nice also!

Thanks for stopping by Emily! Our weather has gotten a little cooler after such a nice start we had. We got spoiled! Our last frost date is May 20th so I keep holding my breath! Nancy

Thank you for visiting my blog! Where did you stay in AZ? We lived in the tiny town of Bouse.

Hi Annie, We stayed in Apache Junction in the Weaver's Needle RV park. I developed allergys so bad I could not enjoy being outdoors so we sold. I do better in cold weather and am getting shots for them. Not sorry we sold tho with the price of gas now! Just wish my gardening season was longer here!!! Thanks for your radish help. Always learning! Nancy

Nancy,
Your garden is lovely! And the white fencing makes a gorgeous backdrop for it! Thanks for inviting me over.

Oh, and the lemon balm... I had it in a window box and it has dropped seeds below and is spreading EVERYWHERE! Just a warning! I do love it and it makes a great filler plant, but it spreads like wildfire!
Blessings,
Amy

Nan, noticed you said that you sold. Does that mean you will not go back to Arizona to live part of the yr.??
I love your plants. I'd sure like to get a start of lemon balm sometime. I really liked it that time I had it in tea, with you. Love your blog!

Thanks for commenting Amy! I knew that Lemon Balm spread but was hoping where I planted that it was poor growing conditions but guess I am wrong. It is spreading anyway. Will have to keep at it -- or sharing all the time! Come visit again! Nancy

Hi Sue! Yep! We sold our park model. Not sure what we will do next winter if anything. I do remember our lunch on the screened in porch with lemon balm in our tea! Fun times! Come again! Nancy

I love putting the lemon balm in my bath water when I take a bath. It is relaxing and spells so good.

Thanks for commenting Joelle! I can just imagine the smell of the
lemon scent when you put it in your bath water! I, however, am not a bath person but a shower person! I do love the smell tho and like it in my tea. Nancy

Progress in the Courtyard!

It was so nice to look out my bedroom window this morning and see the Clematis blooming instead of a pile of snow.  It is a rainy day agai...
